Brief summary

Research review of mainstream and grey literature to identify key elements in developing a strategic approach to managing diffuse sources of pollution, including:

• characterisation and quantification of impacts
• identification and evaluation of techniques to manage diffuse sources
• identification and evaluation of mechanisms to bring the management techniques into routine use.

Completion report by September 2012.
