Welding

The most common method of welding metals on site is by arc welding and this can be either; Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG) or Gas Metal Arc (MIG).

Key environmental issues include:

heat and light (welding occurs at high temperatures and produces strong light - protective equipment is required)
pollution caused by welding materials or materials produced during the welding process.
